Imphal, Dec. 19 -- Former MLA of Moirang Assembly Constituency, M. Prithviraj Singh on Friday said he met the Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, and called for decisive action to address the deteriorating law and order situation following the recent violence in Torbung on December 16.
During the meeting held at Raj Bhavan on Thursday, Prithviraj apprised the Governor of the prevailing sense of insecurity among residents of Moirang and adjoining areas. He highlighted the impact of the violence on civilians, particularly families attempting to resettle, and stressed the need for urgent measures to restore peace and public confidence.
