Former minister Khadse slams govt, police over rave party allegations
Jalgaon, July 29 -- Former Maharashtra Minister Eknath Khadse has launched a scathing attack on the state government and police, questioning the legitimacy of calling a private gathering of seven people a 'rave party'.
"There was no music, no lighting, no dancing. If this is what defines a rave party, then even a group of five to seven people at any home would be considered a rave party," Khadse said, addressing a press conference.
Khadse expressed outrage over police surveillance despite having never used narcotics. "Why are the police keeping tabs on me? Even during my press conference, two plainclothed officers were present. I even saw police standing outside my house. Are they going to sit on my shoulders now?" he asked sarcastically.
