Chandigarh, Oct. 1 -- Former Punjab minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) vice-president Anil Joshi officially joined the Congress party today in Chandigarh.
The event was attended by Congress Punjab in-charge Bhupesh Baghel, state president Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, and Navjot Kaur Sidhu.
During the event, Bhupesh Baghel announced that the Punjab Congress will soon launch a statewide campaign to address key issues, including "vote manipulation". He stated that the route and plan for the campaign will be finalized shortly. Baghel also expressed gratitude to Joshi for joining the Congress.
