Shillong, July 31 -- Leader of Opposition in the Meghalaya Assembly, Dr. Mukul M. Sangma, today said that the opposition parties - Trinamool Congress (TMC) and Voice of the People Party (VPP) - will expose all the irregularities of the National People's Party (NPP)-led government.
"We (TMC and VPP) will take on the State government and expose their self-centric agendas and their anti-people programmes," the former Chief Minister said.
Sangma's statement comes a day after lone Congress legislator and Opposition Chief Whip, Ronnie V. Lyngdoh, joined the NPP, leaving the grand-old party with no representation in the 60-member Meghalaya assembly.
