Imphal, Sept. 29 -- Former Chief Minister of Manipur, N. Biren Singh, has raised strong concerns following a major drug bust in Meghalaya, warning that the incident reflects a larger network of international drug trafficking and poses a grave threat to India's security and youth.

The Meghalaya Police recently arrested two individuals from Manipur Chuchung Serto of Kangpokpi and Thanggin Towthang of Churachandpur, with over 512 grams of heroin valued at around Rs. 2.5 crores.

In a startling revelation, authorities also recovered foreign currencies, including South Korean Won, Kazakhstan Tenge, and Burmese Kyat, indicating possible international drug links.
