Thiruvananthapuram, June 27 -- The condition of CPI(M) veteran and former Kerala Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan, who is undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of SUT Hospital, remains unchanged, according to the medical bulletin issued today.
He was admitted to the hospital on the morning of June 23 following a heart attack, shortly after returning home from his routine check-up on June 22.
The medical bulletin states that efforts are ongoing to stabilise his heartbeat and respiration with the support of life-saving equipment.
