Patna, Oct. 10 -- Former JD (U) MP from Purnea Santosh Kushwaha today joined RJD during ongoing Bihar assembly elections.
Kushwaha was handed over membership slip by senior RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav at his official residence in Patna where a function was organised to mark the occasion.
Yadav while welcoming Kushwaha in his party, said with his joining, RJD would get new vigour in Seemanchal and Kosi region of Bihar.
"I had no option but to leave JD (U) as some leaders with feudal mindset were taking political decisions keeping Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in dark," Kushwaha said adding that JD (U) hadlost its vision and direction of social justice.
