Vijayawada, April 23 -- Former director general of Andhra Pradesh police intelligence department PSR Anjaneyulu was sent to 14 days' judicial remand by the court here on Wednesday.
The former intelligence DG was arrested in Hyderabad at his residence on April 22 in connection with the registration of false cases against bollywood actress Kadambari Jethwani and her arrest without verifying facts and proper investigation.
The senior IPS officer was produced before the 3rd additional chief judicial magistrate court here which sent him to judicial remand till May 7 after hearing arguments. He was shifted to the district prison.
