Prayagraj, Sept. 20 -- Retired IPS officer DK Panda, famously known as the 'Second Radha', has fallen victim to a cyber scam once again.

On September 9, fraudsters duped him out of Rs 4.32 lakh by sending a malicious link via WhatsApp.

Panda, residing in Prayagraj, was searching for the toll-free number of Indian Bank's Mundera branch when he received a call from someone claiming to be a bank employee named Rahul Kumar.

The caller sent a link and persuaded Panda to click on it, resulting in four unauthorized transactions from his UCO Bank savings account: Rs 1,95,023, Rs 95,008, Rs 98,000, and Rs 44,012, totaling Rs 4,32,043.
