Panaji, Aug. 2 -- Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly Anant Shet passed away on Sunday at Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital.
According to sources,
Shet was admitted seven days back. He was elected to the state assembly twice from Mayem assembly constuency.
He held post of Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly between January 12, 2016 to March 14, 2017.
