Bengaluru, March 12 -- BJP MLA CN Ashwath Narayan on Thursday defended the conduct of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and sought to allay public fears over gas cylinder availability.

Addressing allegations of irregularities in the SIR process, he said, "Over the years, SIR has been conducted more than six or seven times, including during the Congress period.
