Kishanganj, April 27 -- Former Congress MLA Tauseef Alam joined AIMIM along with his supporters on Sunday.
Alam accepted the party membership from state president of AIMIM Akhtarul Iman in a function organised at district headquarters of the party. Iman while welcoming Alam in his party, said his influence and support would further strengthen the AIMIM in Seemanchal area of Bihar.
Alam, expressing his pleasure on joining AIMIM, said the party was committed to work for development of Seemanchal area and protect the interests of minorities.
