Mysuru, Nov. 18 -- Former minister and senior Congress leader Tanveer Sait was allegedly attacked by a youth late Sunday night. He sustained a serious injuries. According to police sources, Mr Sait was attacked by a youth, Faran, with a sharp weapon, when the Congress leader had gone to attend a marriage party. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. He was bleeding from his neck. The condition of Sait is reportedly stable, after the doctors had conducted an emergency surgery late night, before shifting him to the Intensive Care Unit in a private hospital, the sources added. The police had arrested the youth, the sources said. Mr Sait is also a member of the Karnataka Assembly.
