Hubballi, April 1 -- Senior BJP leader and former Karnataka chief minister Jagadish Shettar on Wednesday set a confident political tone by predicting a clear majority for the Bharatiya Janata Party in West Bengal, asserting that the party's organisational gains and ground-level feedback point towards a decisive shift in its favour.
Drawing on past performance and internal assessments, Shettar noted that the BJP had already established itself as the principal opposition in West Bengal after securing 75 seats in a closely fought election.
