Patna, Nov. 14 -- Describing the election outcome as 'disappointing and painful', senior Congress leader and former Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee (BPCC) president Akhilesh Prasad Singh on Friday said that seat sharing delays and poor strategies were significant shortcomings of the Grand Alliance's (GA) poor performance.
Singh, while interacting with a section of media said the prolonged delays in finalising seat sharing and inordinate delay in declaring the names of the candidates created confusion which damaged the alliance's prospects. Speaking on the friendly fights within the grand alliance on 11 seats Singh said that it resulted in collective losses. Ticket distribution was not done properly, he asserted.
