Bhubaneswar, Aug. 22 -- A six-year-old school girl had a nightmarish ordeal as forgetful teachers left the school after locking up the student inside a classroom in Odisha's Keonjhar district.
The unsavoury incident occurred yesterday at Anjar Government Upper Primary School as villagers rescued the girl, a Class 2 student, from the locked up room after hours of frantic search.
"We desperately searched for her as she did not return home after school closure. Finally we could locate her in the locked up school after hearing her cries," said local residents.
