Hyderabad, Jan. 7 -- A Forest Department pavilion was inaugurated at the Nampally All India Industrial Exhibition by Dr Suvarna, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana State Forest Department, to create public awareness on forests, biodiversity, wildlife conservation and environmental protection.
The pavilion showcases the department's initiatives in forest conservation, wildlife management, research and community participation through models, posters and interactive displays. Separate stalls by the Forest College and Research Institute, Nehru Zoological Park, Amrabad Tiger Reserve and the bamboo products division highlight research, eco-tourism and forest-based livelihood initiatives.
