Bengaluru, July 7 -- In a major drug bust in the city, narcotic substances worth Rs 4.5 crore were seized from a rented house located just 500-750 metres behind the Rajanukunte police station, Bengaluru Superintendent of Police CK Baba today said.

Acting on specific intelligence, city police had been monitoring the location for several days, where three foreign nationals were residing.

"Our alert policemen had observed the movements around the area for a few days and found it suspicious. On conducting a legally sanctioned search of the premises, we discovered a substantial quantity of narcotics," said SP Baba.
