Kolkata, March 19 -- The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has published the latest data on foreign direct investment in the States. According to that data, foreign investment in Bangla has increased by almost 25 times over the last two years. In FY 2016-17, the foreign investment flow to Bangla was Rs 332 crore. And for the period April-December 2018, that number had increased to Rs 8,121 crore. Therefore, there has been a 24.46 times increase in foreign investment inflow. Not just that, the year-on-year increase has also been telling. In FY 2017-18, the foreign investment flow to Bengal was Rs 1,409 crore.
