Lucknow, April 20 -- In a major step to boost international tourism, the Uttar Pradesh government is set to host a high-level foreign delegation for a special familiarisation trip (FAM Trip) from April 22 to April 30, Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh said on Sunday.
The Minister said that organised by the UP Eco Tourism Development Board, the initiative aims to showcase the state's rich tourism offerings and establish it as a prime destination for global travellers.
He said that while UP already ranks first in the country for domestic tourism, the state is now actively working to attract more international tourists.
