Solan, Oct. 26 -- Himachali folk singer Hansraj Raghuvanshi, a resident of the Mangal area in Solan district, has allegedly received death threats along with his family.

Raghuvanshi, who shot to fame with the bhajan "Mera Bhola Hai Bhandari," has reportedly been asked to pay a ransom of Rs15 lakh by an individual claiming to be associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gangs.

According to the police, the threats were made through phone and WhatsApp calls. The accused, identified as Rahul Kumar Nagde, a resident of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, allegedly threatened to kill the singer's wife, mother, and team members if the ransom was not paid.
