Hyderabad, May 24 -- Union Minister for Coal and Mines and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy emphasised the urgent need to address the local employment gap by enhancing skill development among youth and women.
He noted that due to a lack of job-related skills, people from outside the city are securing employment opportunities that should ideally go to residents.
Speaking during a visit to Ratnanagar and Sajjanagar bastis in the Secunderabad constituency on Saturday, the Union Minister inspected ongoing community hall construction works.
He pointed out that while Hyderabad offers abundant job opportunities, the local population is often unable to capitalise on them due to insufficient training and skill sets.
