New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, JP Nadda, today underlined the government's commitment to making healthcare more affordable and accessible across the country by 2047. He was speaking at the FICCI Heal 2025 conference themed 'Care @25 -Defining Moments in Healthcare.'He added that the Ayushman Bharat scheme has become the world's largest health coverage programme, currently covering over 62 crore beneficiaries with a health cover of Rs5 lakh per family per year. Special provisions have also been made for citizens above 70 years of age, the union Health Minister said, as per a released issued by the FICCI here.
