New Delhi, Oct. 17 -- Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman assessed key indicators including credit growth, NPAs, performance under financial inclusion and implementation of government-sponsored schemes of KaGB.

Sitharaman advised Karnataka Grameena Bank (KaGB) to increase its share in ground-level agriculture credit disbursement, with a special focus on emerging areas of the economy.

The Minister said while chairing a meeting to review the business performance of the Karnataka Grameena Bank (KaGB), " Capital requirement of some of the FPOs is met by Development Financial Institutions and Government Departments.
