Washington, Dec. 6 -- Four people, including two robbery suspects were killed in a shootout after police chased armed robbers who looted a jewellery store in Florida in the US.
After heist at Regent Jewelers, the criminals carjacked a UPS vehicle which ended in a shootout on the streets of South Florida on Thursday, CBS News reported.
The victims are yet to be identified.
Addressing mediapersons, FBI special agent in charge George Piro said two armed suspects robbed Regent Jewelers in Coral Gables at approximately 4:15 p.m. At approximately 4:36 p.m., the suspects hijacked a UPS vehicle, and led police on a high-speed chase through multiple counties.
