Nanded (Maha), Sept. 30 -- Power supply and medical facilities were restored in Rahegaon village in Nanded taluka after 10 days following heavy rains in the region, officials said today, adding that a State Disaster Response Force team had to wade through flood water to access the village and help the marooned villagers.
The lone bridge connecting Rahegaon was flooded, cutting off the village completely, said local MLA Anandrao Bondharkar. He said sub-divisional officer Dr Sachin Khalilal and revenue officer Sanjay Virkad joined hands to arrange help for the villagers.
