Srinagar, Jan. 28 -- Flight operations at Srinagar Airport and vehicular movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway resumed on Wednesday after both remained suspended for a day due to snowfall, officials said.
A moderate to heavy snowfall on Tuesday had disrupted life in the Kashmir Valley, including Srinagar city with all flights cancelled and many major roads, including the Srinagar-Jammu national highway, closed.
Director Srinagar Airport, Javed Anjum, confirmed to UNI that flights resumed on Wednesday following an improvement in weather conditions.
The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway was also reopened for traffic today after remaining suspended a day earlier.
