Jammu, Dec. 10 -- The Jammu Division of Northern Railway on Tuesday decided to operate a special Vande Bharat train between New Delhi and Shaheed Captain Tushar Mahajan (Udhampur) due to the increase in the number of passengers following frequent flight cancellations.
As per the officials, the train will operate from December 12 to 14 to provide a safe and affordable option for stranded passengers.
Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh also posted on X, "Special Vande Bharat Train introduced between Udhampur and New Delhi to meet the inconvenience caused to passengers on account of air flight disruption.
