Ranchi, Dec. 19 -- Jharkhand Health, Medical Education, Food Supply and Disaster Management Minister Irfan Ansari could not attend the World Medical Summit being held in New Delhi due to the cancellation of flights from Ranchi to Delhi amid severe air pollution, dense fog and smog conditions in the national capital.

The World Medical Summit in Delhi has drawn participation from health ministers, doctors, specialists and medical experts from 107 countries. The conference is also scheduled to be attended by the Prime Minister, union Health Minister and health ministers from various states.
