Bhopal, Aug. 4 -- A flat rear tyre forced a delay of almost five hours to an IndiGo flight to Mumbai from Jabalpur, at the Madhya Pradesh city's Dumna airport today.

According to airport officials, the flight reached Jabalpur from Mumbai at around 12 noon. After all the passengers had alighted safely and the aircraft was stationed at the airport's apron, one of its rear tyres got deflated.

Dumna airport Director Rajeev Ratan Pandey said that the flight was scheduled to return to Mumbai at 12.40 pm, but could not due to the tyre problem.

The airlines sent a replacement tyre from New Delhi, and finally the flight took off from Dumna airport at around 5.30 pm, carrying some passengers.
