Shravasti, Nov. 14 -- Five members of a family were found dead inside their locked bedroom in Shravasti on Friday morning. The deceased included a husband, wife, and their three children. The incident took place in Manihar Purwa village under the Ikauna police station area.
According to relatives, the family did not wake up even after 8 am, prompting other family members to check on them. When repeated knocking on the bedroom door went unanswered, they became alarmed. A look through the window revealed all the five family members lying unresponsive inside the room. The door was then forcibly opened and all the five were found dead.
