Five killed as KSRTC bus knocks down two bikes

Kurnool (AP), March 11 -- In a ghastly road accident, five persons including a couple, were killed when two motorcycles on which they were going were knocked down by a Karnataka State RTC bus at Pandavagallu village in Adoni mandal of Kurnool district in AP on Tuesday.

Police said that five persons, including the couple, were going on two motorcycles. A speeding KSRTC bus Knocked down the two bikes from the rear end killing Veeranna (25), Adilakshmi (20) Devaraju, Nagaratna and Hemadri.

Veeranna, Aadilakshmi, Devaraju and Nagaratna were killed on the spot while Hemadri died while being taken to the Area Hospital in Adoni.
