Rajahmundry, June 2 -- In a tragic road accident, five persons of a family were killed and two critically injured, when the car in which they were travelling, rammed into a tanker lorry at Vadisaleru village of Rangampet mandal in East Godavari district in AP on Monday.
Police said that the deceased and the injured went to the beach in Kakinada. When they were going back to Rajahmundry, their car rammed into the tanker lorry at the rear end, killing five persons instantly.
The deceased were identified as Relangi Shivannaryana (40), Relangi Devi Lalita (34), Relangi Varshita (13), Teegireddy Shiva (30) and Teegireddy Sanvi (4). The injured were Teegiredy Bhavani and Relangi Harshita.
