Nizamabad, Nov. 18 -- Five people, including two women, were killed when a autorickshaw in which they were travelling collided with a car at Thanakalan village of Yedapalle Mandal in this district on Sunday evening.
Police said, the accident occurred when the autorickshaw was proceeding to Jankampet from Kandur after attending a festival.
One person was killed on the spot, three others died on the way to hospital and another succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at government hospital here.
The deceased were identified as Aakula Balamani (56), Jakkam Gangamani (60), Kallepuram Sailu (70), Chikkala Sailu (65) and Shaik Nayeem.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, police added.
