Solapur, Dec. 1 -- Five people were killed and two others injured in a tragic accident on the Barshi-Latur highway near Jambhul early Monday morning."Solapur police said on Monday that a speeding truck rammed into a car, resulting in the fatal crash.
The deceased belonged to the Kamble and Waghmare families from Kurduwadi, who were travelling for a religious visit. Newlywed couple Aniket and Meghna Kamble were on their way to Tuljapur along with their family members when the accident occurred. Their car was hit by a speeding truck, said police.
