Five IAS officers transferred in Bihar

Patna, Sept. 10 -- The Bihar government today transferred five Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers .

According to the notification issued by the General Administration Department, the officers affected by the reshuffle are Narmadeshwar Lal, B. Kartikeya Dhanji, Chirid Y. Bhutia, Yashpal Meena, Rajnish Kumar Singh, and Anshul Agrawal.

As per the order, Narmadeshwar Lal has been transferred and appointed as Principal Secretary of the Sugarcane Industry Department. Earlier, he was serving as Principal Secretary in the Minor Water Resources Department. He will continue to hold his additional charge as Inquiry Commissioner, General Administration Department.
