Shimla, Feb. 15 -- : Hundreds of employees of 108 and 102 ambulance services in Himachal Pradesh are observing a five-day statewide strike from February 12 to 16 under the banner of the Himachal Pradesh 108 and 102 Ambulance Employees union affiliated with the (CITU).
The strike has disrupted ambulance services across the state. Protests were held at all district headquarters, including outside the Deputy Commissioner's office in Shimla. On the final day, a state-level demonstration is scheduled outside the office of the Managing Director of Health services at Kusumpati, where hundreds of workers are expected to gather.
