Imphal, April 6 -- In a series of coordinated operations conducted on April 4 and 5, 2026, security forces arrested a total of five active cadres linked to proscribed insurgent outfits across Manipur, police on Monday said.
On April 5, security forces apprehended one cadre from his residence at Chana Mayai Leikai under Lamlai Police Station in the Imphalal East district.
On the same day, another cadre was arrested from his residence at Sanjenbam Khunou in Imphal East district. A mobile phone and an Aadhaar card were recovered from his possession during the operation.
Earlier, on April 4, one cadre was arrested from Palace Compound, Mahabali Mamang under Porompat Police Station in Imphal East district. A mobile phone was seized from him....
