Godda, Nov. 19 -- Godda Police arrested five individuals for allegedly planning a robbery near the cremation ground at Kurmichak village, following a tip-off received by Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar.
Acting on his directions, a raid team led by the Godda Muffasil Police Station in-charge was formed and swiftly conducted the operation.
The team apprehended five youths while some others managed to escape under the cover of darkness.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Shivam Kumar (19), Uttam Kumar Sah (21), Suman Kumar Pandit (23), Pradeep Kumar Sah (18), and Gulshan Pandit (22).
