Shravasti (UP), Aug. 11 -- five people, including an infant, died today after a speeding tractor-trolley attached with a concrete mixer crushed a motorcycle carrying six passengers near Rahmatu village under the Hardatt Nagar Girant police station area of the city.
Police said the accident occurred when Vijay Verma (30), a resident of Mangal Purwa village in Bahraich district, was traveling on a motorcycle with his wife Sunita (28), one-year-old son, sister Mangalawati (40), nieces Neetu (19), and Gyanwati (30). The family was heading from Shankarpur to Nawabganj after celebrating the Raksha Bandhan festival.
