Patna, Dec. 17 -- Bihar government will provide 90 per cent subsidy on purchase of boats and nets under Boat and Net Package Distribution Scheme.
Sources at the Bihar government's Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources Department said here on Wednesday that the subsidy under the scheme will be given to the members of the State Fishermen Cooperative Society or traditional fishermen.
The sources said that to avail the benefit, the eligible applicants will have to apply online by December 31 with their details including mobile number, bank details, Aadhaar number and a recommendation certifying engagement in fishing activities.
