Imphal, Sept. 2 -- The Kamjong District Weight Lifting Association, in collaboration with the Kamjong District Olympic Association, organised the first-ever Weightlifting Talent Hunt at Riha Village today, drawing enthusiastic participation from local youth.
A total of 81 children, including 36 girls and 45 boys, took part in the event. The participants were screened by a panel of experts comprising Sanasam Brojendro, General Secretary of the Manipur Weight Lifting Association and YAS Coach; Ch. Premita Devi, Coach, NSA; T. Bobo Singh, Coach, NSA; and M. Sunibala Devi, Coach, RCC YAS.
