New Delhi, March 29 -- An Indian Air Force (IAF) aircraft, carrying 15 tonnes of relief material for earthquake victims in Myanmar landed in Yangon on Saturday morning.
The aircraft carried tents, blankets, sleeping bags, generators and essential medicines, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) said.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of life and property in Friday's earthquake and offered all possible assistance to the Myanmar government.
The relief material also carried solar lamps and kitchen sets.
MEA spokesperson said that assistance is being provided to affected people under 'Operation Brahma'.
