Mandi, Oct. 15 -- The state government's ambitious Himachal Pradesh Subtropical Horticulture, Irrigation and Value Addition (HP Shiva) Project is yielding positive results.
Under the project, the sweet oranges (mausami) harvest of gardeners from the Dharmpur Cluster in Mandi district is now being sold directly to Reliance, generating significant enthusiasm among the growers.
Deputy Director of Horticulture, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, said today that the first shipment of approximately 1.5 metric tons of sweet oranges was sent to the Reliance Store yesterday.
