Meerut (UP), March 9 -- Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday said that the construction work
of Uttar Pradesh's first sports university, named after Major Dhyanchand, being set up in Meerut is expected to be completed by November.
The CM, who recently inspected the site, said that the university's first session will begin this year. "Initially, classes will be held at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology. This institution is set to play a crucial role in nurturing sports talent in the state," he said.
