Vijayawada, Sept. 12 -- The first Quantum Reference facility will be established at the quantum valley in the capital city Amaravati region.

The Government of Andhra Pradesh today announced the establishment of India's first Quantum Reference facility at Amaravati Quantum Valley.

The facility, to be set up at an estimated cost of Rs 40 crores, will provide testing, benchmarking, and characterization of quantum components, laying the foundation for the future manufacturing of quantum computers from Amaravati.
