Patna, July 23 -- With 98.01 per cent electors being covered, the first phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Bihar Electoral Roll was nearing completion.
According to a release of the Election Commission ( EC) no eligible elector was left out and no ineligible person was included in the list during the process.
The released said here today that till July 23, 98.01% electors have been covered and during the process 20 lakh electors were found to be dead, 28 lakh permanently migrated, 7 lakh found
enrolled at more than one place, 1 lakh untraceable, 15 lakh elector's forms not returned and 7.17 crore elector' s forms (90.89%) received and digitised.
