Hyderabad, July 16 -- In a significant step towards promoting peaceful conflict resolution and supporting survivors of domestic violence, the International Arbitration and Mediation Centre (IAMC), Hyderabad, in collaboration with Invisible Scars Foundation, has launched India's first specialised family mediation training program for grassroots social workers.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, A J Jawad, Lead Faculty and Registrar of IAMC, along with Ms Ekta Viiveck Verma, Founder of Invisible Scars Foundation, announced the successful completion of a unique seven-day training program designed to equip non-legal professionals-particularly social workers-with mediation skills to resolve family and domestic disputes.
