Shimla, Dec. 15 -- Shimla district reported two major fire incidents within the last 24 hours, causing damage to a temple and an old wooden building, though no loss of life was reported.
According to information received here, the first incident occurred in the Rampur area, where a newly constructed temple was completely gutted in a blaze. Fire personnel rushed to the spot and managed to bring the flames under control after sustained efforts. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
