Singapore, Nov. 5 -- Four people were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to the hospital following a fire at a residential building in central Singapore on Tuesday night, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said today.
Approximately 200 residents were evacuated from the affected block as a precautionary measure, the SCDF added in a Facebook post.
The fire, which occurred at a lift lobby on the eighth floor, involved a Personal Mobility Aid. Firefighters brought the blaze under control using a water jet.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
